Pop it or Toss it!: Interstellar...Part 1:

Hey everyone!

Today for Pop it or Toss it! I will be reviewing the latest from Christopher Nolan...Interstellar.

My thoughts on the movie:

Just go see it.

At least that was what I was tempted to do. Once I saw this, I knew this would be a hard post. In fact its been a couple of weeks, and I am just now finishing the draft I started. Which was only two lines.

So then after doing my last post, I was inspired. I was discovering things I didn't even I didn't know on the movie! Then I thought. You know what? i will post on this movie, and I WILL DO MY DO ABSOLUTE BEST!

But not right now. I'm totally wiped from my last post. See y'all next time

Pop it or Toss it!: Big Hero 6

Hey everyone!

If you have read my past 2 posts, you would know that I went to Big Hero 6 to see the Star Wars teaser. And finally, I have the post for the actual movie I saw.

Big Hero 6 is an animated Marvel movie, made by the people who made: Tangled, Frozen, and Wreck-it-Ralph, also known as (was that)Pixar.

The Animation:

The animation in this movie was great. It kept the story moving, and was fun to watch. I love how you can tell exactly what a character is thinking, just by the emotion on their face. You can tell their personality, or what mood they are in. The animation on Baymax, A.K.A The Marshmallow Man, was especially entertaining. They clumsy way he walked, or when he would copy what Hiro was doing, it was just fun. Also, the music was great. It had a cool score, and a rockin' new song by Fallout boy. Seriously, that just may end up on my Itunes.

The Story:

The story to this movie was as fun as it was unique. It had plenty of funny parts, and a share of some more powerful scenes. The characters were very unique, and the chemistry between Hiro and Baymax was great. Which how could it not be? Everyone loves a giant marshmallow man! The humor in this movie was phenominal! The whole theatre (including myself) had plenty of genuine laughs. Like the scene with the cop. The way he says Kabooki mask just kills me!

WARNING: FROM THIS POINT ON THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. DO NOT CROSS IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN THE MOVIE, IN THE MOVIE, NOT THE BLOG.

you have been warned...

I mean it.

I knew right at that moment with the scene with Callighan and whatshisface, that they were going to try and surprise me with the villain. At first I thought (like everyone else) that it was whatshisface. And they would go with the classic "you didn't sell me your thing, so I'll steal it and be the bad guy" routine, but they didn't. Than I guessed maybe the brother, but I honestly hoped they wouldn't. I just don't see that being any better. And if he ended up being alive the whole time, that just takes a WHOLE lot from the movie.  So than when Callighan was the bad guy, I was actually genuinely surprised. Which only this branch of Disney can actually do.

I loved how the villain actually good reason to be bad. It always makes the movie much more interesting, than if they are just bad. No one is simply just bad.Or good. And I loved how they showed that in Hiro. He was actually going to kill Callighan! Like, forrealzies! It was also kinda neat how the hero, (or Hiro, in this case) both had the same thing happening to them. Someone they loved was taken away because of someone else. By the way, did any of you realize that Callighan never apologized to Hiro? Think about it. Tidashi dies because of him, he tries to kill whatshisface because whathisface made Abigail disappear. And in the end when Abigail comes back, and he is 'good' again, he doesn't say "Hey sorry your brother died in a fire and i didn't do anything about it". When you think about it, this guy is horrible! But that's also what makes him great. He wasn't simply good or bad. And he was never 'fixed'. In most kids films, the villain turns good, or dies. No true villain would change like that.

The End Credit Scene:

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, you have obviously forgotten that you have to stay after the credits for every Marvel film. Indeed this is a Marvel movie, and indeed it has a Stan Lee cameo. The best one ever! You just have to see it!

*SPOILERS STOP HERE*
