Pop it or Toss it!: Feast

Hey everyone!

If you saw my last post, you probably know that I went to the movies to see the teaser for Star Wars. Well obviously I had to see a movie after the trailers, So I went to the latest Marvel movie, Big Hero 6. And before the movie, was the animated short: Feast.

Feast:

Just like Frozen, Tangled, and Wreck it Ralph, we were treated to an animated short before the movie. I have LOVED these for as long as I could remember, and this no disappointment. In this short, we meet a dog (Wingston, I think?) and his owner, who gives him plenty of delicious treats to eat. Soon the relationship change when the guy gets a girlfriend, and well, I'll leave the rest up for you to watch.

 The Animation:

In shorts like these, animation is (at the very least) Half the story. The animation in Feast were fairly similar to the animation in Paperman, except this one had color. What I liked about it was how the whole story was told from the dogs point of view. If it was over his head, it was over our head. If he thought it was disgusting, we thought it was disgusting.

Overall this short carried the charm I expected to see. You have to see it! But since it is still in the theatre, the full short is not yet online. For that you would have to go to Big Hero 6 (which I reccomend) but if that's not in your plan, than you'll just have to wait. For a while. But here's the first look at it:

Star Wars Teaser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Yesterday, selected AMC theatres played the teaser for the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.

The Teaser:

Like most everyone else, I was stoked to see the teaser. I didn't expect much, with it only being about a minute. But in all honesty, I wasn't overly thrilled with it. I think a teaser should use more technique to excite us. You only have a very short amount of time to get everyone psyched for your movie. So what do you want to do with those short seconds? Tease us of course! Give us a short glimpse into the action, and leave us asking for more! We were all asking for more, but not quite in the same way. Don't get me wrong, I was glad to see it, and so was everyone else in the theatre (they all gave it an applause, including me) But I still feel they should've used their time more wisely. Here's the teaser:
