Yesterday, selected AMC theatres played the teaser for the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.
The Teaser:
Like most everyone else, I was stoked to see the teaser. I didn't expect much, with it only being about a minute. But in all honesty, I wasn't overly thrilled with it. I think a teaser should use more technique to excite us. You only have a very short amount of time to get everyone psyched for your movie. So what do you want to do with those short seconds? Tease us of course! Give us a short glimpse into the action, and leave us asking for more! We were all asking for more, but not quite in the same way. Don't get me wrong, I was glad to see it, and so was everyone else in the theatre (they all gave it an applause, including me) But I still feel they should've used their time more wisely.
